Territory Sales Manager for DACH Region - Germany (based from home)

Job Purpose

As a Regional Sales Manager for GeoSLAM, you will be responsible for managing the Company’s activities within the DACH territory, including channel development, cultivating existing customer and partner relationships along with end-user accounts to drive revenue. Your primary focus will be on the sales of our solutions into your territory.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Achieve assigned targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives across the region.
  • Develop and deliver a plan to maximise the commercial activity in your territory.
  • Contribute to the strategy and future direction of our sales strategy.
  • Manage both direct and indirect sales channels to successfully achieve defined revenue targets.
  • Channel development; increase sale footprint, channel management & promotion.
  • Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship.
  • Ensure the business delivers profitable and sustainable business.
  • Manage reporting, analytics and insight on performance (Salesforce.com).  Provide timely and quality reports to management and other stakeholders.

Key Skills

  • Good knowledge of Lidar / scanning based solutions for monitoring and mapping applications for the key industries within the DACH region.
  • Experience of operating throughout the DACH region within a sale capacity.
  • Sales professional with proven track record, operating successfully within our field.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills.
  • High levels of commercial acumen.
  • Capacity to articulate complex value propositions to channel partners and end-users.

Production Technician - Nottingham, UK

Job Purpose

As Production Technician, you will be responsible for assembly and testing of GeoSLAM Mapping and Monitoring products. A key part of the role will be testing components prior to assembly, inspecting and testing finished goods as well as assisting with repairs. Our ideal candidate has experience of electronics in a manufacturing environment, is attentive with a keen eye for quality, and is energetic and hardworking. In addition, you will assist with Goods In, stock storage, and distribution of materials. You will be computer literate familiar with Microsoft Office, and an excellent communicator

Key Responsibilities 

  • Inspect, test and program component parts prior to assembly
  • Build assemblies in accordance with Work Instructions and quality standards
  • Pick and pack stock ready for delivery to outsourced assemblers
  • Assist with timely repairs of returned equipment
  • Inspect and rigorously test systems prior to sale
  • Ensure production area is safe to work
  • Identify and debug problems in processes and products
  • Receive, count and verify incoming deliveries
  • Pack and unpack items for shipping, storage in stockrooms, storage yards, or warehouses
  • Distribute products or materials to store shelves, co-workers, or customers
  • Process damaged or defective stock per company protocol
  • Comply with safety regulations for moving heavy objects and using machinery

The Role(s)

We’re looking for talented full stack web application developers to join our successful and growing team to help us further enhance our products.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

  • Experience in a development role
  • Excellent Javascript development skills
  • Proven front-end skills in HTML, CSS/SASS, Javascript (ES6), ReactJS (or other modern Javascript framework such as Ember, Angular, Vue)
  • Experience building Node.js applications (server or client side)
  • Experience with distributed version control (ideally git)

Software Engineer - Nottingham, UK

The Role(s)

We’re looking for several talented software engineers to join our successful and growing team to help us further develop our product range.

The successful candidate will be a self-motivated and pro-active individual with excellent communication skills.

Working on multiple projects, the successful candidate will have a broad range of development tasks to complete, and will work on all stages of the software development lifecycle. Whether you come from an academic background or have a track record producing commercial software we’d like to hear from you.

Example tasks the successful candidate will be required to perform (depending on experience)

· Development and implementation of enhancements to existing SLAM code

· Creating new C++ software (Windows or Linux) to manipulate 3D point cloud data, including appropriate automated tests.

· Modifying existing C++ code running on Linux and Windows platforms to add new functionality

· Porting C++ applications and libraries from Linux to Windows.

· Debugging research code and developing automated tests

· Producing technical documentation for internal technical teams.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

· Cross platform C++ development experience

· Proficiency with Linux, in particular Ubuntu

Project management wise we use SCRUM with 2 week sprints with cross-functional teams, ticket tracking on Jira, code in git on BitBucket and continuous integration using Jenkins. Everybody is supported to contribute new ideas and solutions that enhance our products and the customer experience.

As a Technical Support Engineer, you will manage incoming technical support queries from internal and external customers.

  • Ownership of technical support queries, dealing with both hardware and software
