Product
Product owners and Application Engineers understand how LiDAR technologies will transform industries and re-define processes within the built environment. They work closely with customers and dealers to build roadmaps for future product development around market need.
Development
GeoSLAM developers build cutting edge technologies. They take deeply complex problems and turn them into software that solves a real need with our customers. They are problem solving, idea sharing, team players.
Marketing
Our marketeers are a multidiscipline team, they seek out the best ways to share how GeoSLAM’s solutions are disrupting the sectors we operate in. They launch products, run events, make videos, host webinars, you name it, the marketing team are on it.
Sales
Our sales team work with our dealers, enterprise and OEM customers to grow the number of people using our technology. They are energetic team players who are driven by exceeding the needs of our customers.
Operations
Our operations team are super efficient product assemblers, stock controllers, supply chain co-ordinators and quality controllers.
The support team are on hand to help our customers get the most from their GeoSLAM products – and be there to help when needed.
Finance and admin
The finance and admin teams keep the wheels of GeoSLAM turning. They manage accounts, business systems, admin, shipping and legislation.

UK
Production Technician
Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, UK
Department: Operations
The role:
As Production Technician, you will be responsible for final assembly and testing of GeoSLAM Mapping and Monitoring products. Key aspects of the role will be testing and configuring components prior to assembly, final assembly, inspection and testing of finished goods, as well as carrying out repairs of in-field failures. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to effectively communicate product deficiencies to production and development leads. In addition, you will assist with Goods In and Goods Out.
Key responsibilities:
- Inspect, test and program component parts prior to assembly
- Build electrical and mechanical assemblies in accordance with Work Instructions
- Undertake Factory Acceptance Testing in accordance with documented processes
- Completion of Acceptance Testing documentation
- Timely repairs of returned equipment, including creation of Service Reports
- Inspect, rigorously test and pack systems prior to sale
- Ensure production area is safe to work
- Assist Inventory Coordinator with receipting and picking/packing of material
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- A keen interest in learning how things work and how they are put together
- Some demonstrable practical hands on engineering experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to work exhibiting a strong ‘can-do’ attitude
- Bags of initiative, able to work without close supervision
- A team player
- Basic soldering skills

Shipping Coordinator
Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, UK
Department: Operations
The role:
As Shipping Coordinator you will handle every aspect of dispatch, export and import. Working within the supply chain team and closely with production, order processing and customer support teams, you will be responsible for arranging the dispatch and importation of goods to/from customer and supplier locations globally, managing daily dialogue with couriers and freight forwarders to ensure shipments reach their destination with as little friction as possible. Tracking of shipments and communication with customers and suppliers regarding the package’s progress will be a key daily requirement.
Key responsibilities:
- To prepare, issue and review all domestic and international shipping paperwork
- Working closely with the order processing team, ensure all customer orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner with correct documentation
- Ensure all imported products, including equipment for repair, are processed in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate records and file appropriately
- To monitor all shipments, troubleshoot when necessary and communicate accordingly internally and externally
- Ensure compliant export and import documentation and maintain records for audits
- Ensure compliance with EU, UK and US import, export and trade sanctions, and embargo laws and regulations
Skills, experience and qualifications:
- Significant Import/export experience, working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail
- Well organised and able to maintain high standards when working under pressure to meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Positive, enthusiastic approach to work exhibiting a strong ‘can-do’ attitude
- Bags of initiative, able to work without close supervision
- A strong team player
