Applications Engineer

The role
As an Applications Engineer, you will be a subject matter expert in your field, and be knowledgeable in software, hardware and interfaces for the appropriate product line. Sales Order Coordinator
Location: Ruddington, Nottinghamshire, UK

The role
To provide administrative support to the external sales team by creating and managing records in Salesforce CRM to allow accurate forecasting. The Sales Order Coordinator will generate quotations based on the external sales team’s requirements, seeking the relevant permissions for any special negotiations before sending the quotations to the channel partner. The role will include managing channel partner relations and assisting in the administration of on-boarding new dealers and off-boarding existing dealers. The Sales Order Coordinator will also work alongside our existing Sales Order Co-ordinator to cover the Order Processing role.

The role
We’re looking for talented software engineers who want to join our successful and growing team to help us further develop our product range of handheld mapping systems. Working on multiple projects, the successful candidate will have a broad range of development tasks to complete and will work on all stages of the software development lifecycle. - Development of desktop software in our Analytics team – which includes our successful Process Monitor, SmartScan and Volumes software packages:

Technical Buyer and Planner
Location: Ruddington, UK

The role
As Technical Planner/Buyer you will lead our procurement function as a member of the GeoSLAM Operations Team. Primarily focussed on component supply to meet production, R&D and sales demands. The role will include PO placement, expediting and reporting in conjunction with longer term strategic planning. You will own GeoSLAM’s outsourced assembly plan, regularly updating and communicating the plan internally and with our manufacturing partners. You will drive process improvements throughout the procurement function and wider operations team to ensure GeoSLAM is able to meet the future supply chain challenges. A flexible approach is essential, the ability to adapt a plan to meet changing requirements is key.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, manage and resolve material supply issues, including management of longer-term supply chain risk

IT Manager

The role
Due to natural growth, GeoSLAM is seeking an IT Manager to provide day to day support and provide strategic technical leadership to help move the company forward over the coming years.
We’re looking for candidates who are highly engaged with the latest trends in IT infrastructure, architecture and security and enjoy being hands-on managing the day to day whilst able to think strategically. The company has 100 staff globally, spread between 4 offices and many home workers. This is a stand-alone IT Manager position so you will take responsibility for a wide range of issues and be leading a variety of exciting projects working closely with the leadership team. There is an existing outsourced IT management company in place and a Business Systems Manager who looks after the cloud-based CRM/ERP systems.
Key responsibilities
- Enabling the company to deliver on its business strategy and objectives using information technology.
- Manage our existing external IT support company by communicating job requirements and appraising their performance.
- Take responsibility for our information technology and computer systems, including
- Microsoft 365 / Sharepoint
- SIP phone system (local and cloud based)
- Internet connectivity, firewall & VPN

- Hands-on management of IT that is out-of-scope for our IT support company such as entry controls, meeting room infrastructure, phone systems, password manager and other utilities.

The role
As a Channel Manager for GeoSLAM, you will be responsible for managing our distribution network in your specified territory and cultivating existing customer and partner relationships to drive revenue. Your primary focus will be the sales of our mobile 3D laser scanners into the surveying, engineering and AEC markets.
