Competition Terms and Conditions

Summary 

The prize is a GeoSLAM ZEB Go, GeoSLAM Connect and 1-year GeoSLAM Care (UK delivery only – other country delivery at winner’s cost). Entrants must register online or in person at the event, follow GeoSLAM on LinkedIn and share the pinned post on LinkedIn. Opens midnight GMT on Wednesday 24 November 2021 and closes midnight GMT on Thursday 25 November 2021. All entrants agree to opt-in to GeoSLAM’s marketing mailing list. Winner agrees to provide GeoSLAM with a case study about their use of the prize, to use for marketing purposes. Competition open for 18+, excluding GeoSLAM employees, affiliates and dealers. 1 entry per person. 

*Terms and Conditions 

  1. Winner will receive a GeoSLAM ZEB Go scanner, GeoSLAM Connect software and 1 year of GeoSLAM Care. Prize is not redeemable for cash, and not transferrable to another product. GeoSLAM Draw is not included as part of this prize. GeoSLAM Care is subject to renewal after 1 year, payable by the winner if they wish to renew.
  2. Delivery within the United Kingdom is provided as part of the prize package. If winner is located outside of the United Kingdom, or wishes to have the prize delivered to a location outside of the United Kingdom, delivery costs will be at their own expense. GeoSLAM does not accept liability for the prize once it has left the GeoSLAM office.
  3. Competition is open to individuals over the age of 18 with a maximum of one entry per person. Entrants must provide their full name, address, valid email address and business name to constitute a valid entry.
  4. Entrants must not be GeoSLAM employees, affiliates, dealers, employees or affiliates of dealers, their families and households, direct competitors and their employees and affiliates, or anyone professionally connected to this competition. Entry by any of these people will be considered invalid.
  5. Entry will be online via the GeoSLAM website using the online form, or directly with a GeoSLAM representative at GEO Business or Digital Construction Week Conferences 2021.
  6. Entries must be accompanied by the individual following GeoSLAM on LinkedIn (if they do not already) and sharing the pinned post onto their personal LinkedIn page. 
  7. By entering this competition, the participant agrees to opt-in to GeoSLAM’s marketing mailing list, and thus to be contacted for marketing purposes. Opt-out is available at any time.
  8. The competition will open at 00:01 GMT on Wednesday 24 November 2021 and will run until 23:59 GMT on Thursday 25 November 2021. Entries received before or after this date will not be valid. 
  9. Prize will be drawn on Tuesday 30th November 2021 and announced on GeoSLAM’s social media. Winner will be drawn randomly from all valid entries received within the competition period.
  10. The winner will be contacted via email within 7 days of the draw date. If the winner does not respond to claim the prize within 14 days of being contacted, GeoSLAM reserves the right to forfeit the prize.
  11. By entering the competition, entrants agree that if they are the winner, they will work with GeoSLAM to provide a case study on their use of the scanner. GeoSLAM will be provided full permission by the winner to publish the case study and distribute online and in marketing activities.   
  12. If the competition is not capable of running as planned for reasons including but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, dishonesty, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of GeoSLAM which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, GeoSLAM reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or does not comply with these Terms & Conditions and/or to cancel, modify or suspend the competition or invalidate any affected entries.
  13. GeoSLAM reserve the right to cancel the competition, prior to it’s start time, for any reason including the cancellation orinability to attend the GEO Business event.
  14. No responsibility can be taken for entries which are lost, delayed, corrupted, damaged, misdirected or incomplete or which cannot be delivered for any technical, delivery or other reason.
  15. It is the responsibility of the participant to provide their correct, up-to-date details when entering the competition and/or confirming acceptance of the prize in order for their prize to be processed. GeoSLAM cannot be held responsible for winners failing to supply accurate information which affects prize acceptance or delivery of their prize.
  16. An entry must be made directly by the individual entering the competition. Bulk entries from trade, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Incomplete or illegible entries and entries submitted by macros or other automated means together with entries which do not satisfy the requirements of these Terms & Conditions in full will be disqualified and will be not be counted. If it becomes apparent that an entrant is using a computer(s) to circumvent this condition by, for example, the use of ‘script’, ‘brute force’, masking their identity by manipulating IP addresses, using identities other than their own or any other automated means in order to increase that entrant’s entries into the competition in a way that is not consistent with the rules of the competition, that entrant’s entries will be disqualified and any prize awarded will be void. Entrants are not permitted to enter using anonymous email services such as, but not limited to, GuerillaMail, Dispostable or Mailinator.
  17. GeoSLAM may refuse to award a Prize in the event of any entrant’s fraud, dishonesty, breach or non-entitlement under these Terms & Conditions or seek recovery of its value if the Prize has been awarded.
  18. If any provisions of these Terms & Conditions are judged to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, this will not affect or impact the continuation in full force and effect the remainder of the provisions.
  19. By entering this competition, you will be deemed to have agreed to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. You also acknowledge that any personal data provided by you in connection with the competition will be processed as set out above and in accordance with our Privacy Policy which can be found https://geoslam.com/privacy-policy/
  20. If a discrepancy between these Terms & Conditions and the details in any promotional material arises, the details in these Terms & Conditions will prevail.
  21. These Terms & Conditions are governed by English law and their interpretation and application will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
